Chicago Pneumatic™ Backfill Tampers CP0004

Chicago Pneumatic™ backfill tampers are commonly used by municipal and utility crews for compacting around both utility line repairs and new installations such as street lights, fire hydrants, and telephone poles prior to pouring concrete. In addition, this proven tool is ideal for backfilling around foundations or other tight areas.

While the CP0003 is used for light to medium applications, the CP0004RV is used for heavy duty jobs.
